Updated September 2006 Coston Farm is owned and operated by a third generation apple
grower and family. Now run by David Coston, David's grandad started
the farm in Henderson County , and his dad developed the apple-growing
end of the business. David has been managing the farm and
the Apple House for over 25 years, taking over when his father
retired (but his dad still stays active in the business!).
Lola, David's wife, has returned to the farm full-time and
is enjoying meeting with all the wonderful people who stop by
our store.
Brent, the oldest son, graduated from Clemson and is now a
project manager for a large company.
Derrick is now a senior at Clemson with a major in Business.
Holly is now a sophomore at Appalachian State University and
continues to pursue a major in Criminal Justice and Psychology.
Rachel, the youngest, is now in middle school.
David's sister Sandra and her husband Dale will be managing
the Apple House this Fall.
Aunts, uncles and cousins all contribute
as well. Coston Farm and Apple House truly is a family-run
business.
